This particular CAIS uses innovative engineering to advance your E39 M5’s performance by 15 – 18 whp and 18 - 20 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels. A constant increased flow of cool air is achieved through an additional front opening that provides the ram air effect, and larger and longer intake tracts. Easily-replaced low-restriction K&N air filters replace factory filters to eliminate any performance bottlenecks there.

A complementary benefit of this system comes in the form of fully-functional ducts providing vital extra air flow to cool the front braking system. Which only makes sense, given the newfound power now on tap.
