Inspired, race-tested and proven in the BMWCCA Club Race IP series,
the Active Autowerke Race and Turbo Exhaust is a full 3.0"
straight-thru design with resonators for that tuned note. Its a
first for the racing industry, the mid-section resonator can be
interchanged for a straight-thru pipe – giving you free choice
between Mild Race or Full Race sound.
Designed as a continuation of our Active Autowerke Racing
Headers, this system uses a quick-release stainless steel V-Band
clamping system for reliable sealing, easy disconnect and light
weight.
The Turbo/Race Exhaust can be fitted on an E36 turbo powered car
with relatively simple modifications for maximum horsepower gains.
The decrease in back pressure translates into immediate turbo spool
and boost acceleration improvements. If you have an E36 Turbo M3,
this exhaust is definitely on your Must-Have list.
Lightweight and polished, built of 100% 304 stainless
throughout, this system is guaranteed not to rust through or break
away, and handles 600+ HP without flinching. Bolts directly to
factory hanger points for an easy install. This exhaust comes
complete with a limited 2 year warranty
How light is it? The complete Active RACE Exhaust system is
still lighter than the factory rear muffler.
- INSTALLATION OPTION #1: Primarily designed to be used when
installed with the Active Autowerke Racing headers for the the E36
M3. This will provide a simple and easy installation.
- INSTALLATION OPTION #2: If you are not running an Active
Autowerke racing headers, but have the BMW factory exhaust
manifolds installed, then all that is needed for a simple install
is to use the Active TRACK PIPE ** Front Section-A **
The Active Autowerke exhaust system is truly modular for the BMW
E36 M3 with multiple applications that can be interchanged among
various pieces very easily.
