The Big... Bad... Evil turbo that is known as
the GT40R
This beastly turbo provides the best overal response and most
durable life relative to other designs we have seen for the massive
power that the the turbo is capable of. Supports approximately 700+
Horsepower (BHP) making it ideal for the super powerful inline 6
build. This is one of the most recognized and revered turbos for
big horsepower builds on the market, and the biggest turbo that
will bolt on our top-mount manifolds and fit under the hood.
You will receive this Garret Dual Ball-Bearing GT4088R Turbo
completely pre-assembled. By default its configured with a common
T4 style inlet flange and a reliable 3.00" V-Band outlet.
Utilizes a large style compressor housing with 4.00" inlet and
2.50" outlet.

- Wheel: 77mm w/ 78trim
- Housing: choice of .85, .95, 1.06, or 1.19 A/R
Compressor wheel
- Wheel: 88mm w/ 52 trim
- Housing: .58 ar
Note that our turbos are genuine authentic
Garrett. Factory
assembled and balanced for OEM grade reliability, they are spec'ed
with a favorite wheel size combination for nice spool up and great
performance.
- Default housing is T4 inlet (other optional turbine housings
available on request)
- Ideal for BMW 6 Cyl applications and good up 700HP+ with
amazing high RPM power
- For use with external wastegates only
- The GT series is turbo is both water and oil cooled
