Racing Dynamics Carbon Fiber Engine Cover is a
beautiful example of high tech 'dry carbon' workmanship.
Take your engine bay aesthetics to the next level. This set
replaces the OE plastic that resides on top of the valve cover and
between the intake manifold over the fuel rail.
Weighs next to nothing and looks excellent when you pop the hood.
'Old School' Racing Dynamics logo brings us back to the glory
days of the timeless E36 yet is made in the most modern dry-carbon
manufacturing process. A really nice finishing touch if you want

A special manufactures note about
the RACING DYNAMICS engine covers:
Racing Dynamics carbon fiber engine covers are made by a dry
process rather than the normal wet process that many shops utilize.
Many people do not realize that the carbon fiber product they are
purchasing is not entirely carbon fiber, or that it is carbon
sheets with heavy layers of fiberglass or resin.
Race car carbon fiber components like those on a formula car are
made in a pre-preg "dry" process which consists of vacuum forming
sheets of carbon fiber into a mold at temperatures around 350° F,
sometimes referred to as "Autoclave" as this is where the process
takes place.
This process allows carbon fiber to form into a very strong and
very lightweight composite, as most true race car parts.
Other processes generally allow air pockets to form in the carbon
fiber material. This makes the wet carbon fiber structure weak and
also is susceptible to changes in temperature, like the heat from
your engine. Not so with the Racing Dynamics engine cover, made in
true superlight fashion and extremely resistant to heat.
