The Samsonas Motorsport Gear Kit is designed for
the factory BMW / ZF housing as a direct replacement
dog-engagement gear set for the OEM Helical gears
With some preparation to the housing, the Samsonas gear set
offers a true "Dog Gear" engagement in a easy to replace solution
with no need for bell housing adapters or any custom chassis
work.
This is a very strong 5 speed gearbox that has all forks,
rods, selectors, and selecting-protection parts made in cutting
edge European machine shops from Billet Steel. Also, this gearbox
has additional protection from selecting gear revolutions during
hard driving that may cause damage. All gears have 5 engagement
dogs to make shifting easier during high revs out on the track.
We have fitted this gear kit on our own car and love it, plus
the cost can't be beat! Finally... the transmission solution the
BMW worlds has been waiting for!
All engine applications include a complete gear set, and special
unique billet gearshift lever for the cockpit to make shifting with
dog-engagement gears smooth and accurate.
