This Schrick M52/S52 Aluminum Intake Manifold is an awesome and
popular upgrade from the stock manifold for all M52 and S52us
owners. When BMW chose to fit all M52 family engines including the
M3 with the same manifold, they did it for cost reasons, not for
performance.
Fitting an OBD 1 manifold is possible, but then your working with
adapter kits, tracking down parts, and this setup has some draw
backs of its own.
The Schrick manifold is a best seller. Works extremely well,
fits like OEM and is the choice of the owner looking for the over
best performance.
