Co-developed over the past few years in a joint VAC and Schrick
venture, this cam set for BMWs inline 6 is what customers have been
waiting for: A camshaft set that makes more power than the 264/256
Schrick set on the S50 & S52 US Spec engines without requiring
aftermarket pistons, or modified VANOS.
These cams offer very strong power gains in the mid and top of the
RPM band without making the low RPM soft. Enjoy serious power
without reliability or drivability issues of large cams from other
brands.
This set is suitable for both high performance street cars and
track use, and is easy to tune for.

-What do these cams drive like on the street?: On
the street your BMW will be faster and more powerful in all
areas.
Idle is streetable with a slight sound of an upgraded cam "rumble"
power band is super strong under the curve and linear. Improved
torque along with horsepower will improve 0-60 as well as highway
performance. Strong gains in the mid to high RPMs are felt as
well.
-What do these cams drive like on the Track?:
These cams are excellent for the beginner or the seasoned
racer.
Flat power band means a fast, easy to control car around the track
with less stress and strain on the engine. This camshaft set can be
run without internal engine work, although uprated valve springs
are required.
Suitable for:
-S50 (us), S52 (us) Engines with stock or aftermarket pistons
-M50 & M52 engines fitted with aftermarket pistons with
enlarged valve reliefs.

VAC Tech Tip:
This camshaft set should be accompanied by upgraded valve springs
for engine reliability. As with all camshafts, new OEM BMW valve
lifters are to be used during installation.
