VAC Motorsports has been installing and racing with Schrick cams for decades, putting these components to the ultimate test, with only consistent, powerful, and reliable results.

268° / 268°

Schrick offers one set of performance cams for the S62 (268° / 268° degree duration). This application gives a broad power band and excellent gains across the RPM range and works as a direct replacement for OEM. A perfect upgrade for a street driven or tracked vehicle such as a M5 or Z8. As is typical with camshafts, an ECU tune along with these cams will also further improve power gains and driveability.

Tech Notes:

Clearance between the cam lobes and the cylinder head should be checked. File as needed during install before final assembly.
High Performance Valve Springs are highly recommended with all cam upgrades that will see sustained high RPMs, such as track use.
As with all camshafts, they should be installed with new hydraulic lifters to prevent excessive wear to the camshaft lobes.
