This VAC Custom Valved Double-Adjustable Damper Kit will improve
the ride and handling of your Sports or Racing E30
tremendously.
Koni's offer fantastic performance to cost ratio and they are used
on many of the worlds finest automobiles as original equipment, and
on racing vehicles.
They can be re-valved to suit your needs and are rebuildable.
Koni's are simply an excellent value.
Our Koni DA kit is designed to be an easy replacement of your OEM,
Sachs, Bilstein, standard Koni, or other Shocks. These dampers
are custom valved by TC Kline, master Koni tuner and BMW road
racer, for excellent performance
We have seen gains of 1 to 2 seconds on lap times with this kit as
it helps the driver contour the attitude of the car both for
different spring rates and car setup as well as over different
quality road surface.
Not to be confused with off the shelf
front inserts, or Chevy Camaro or Ford Mustang rears, these DA
dampers are custom valved for the E30 chassis. Both front
and rear shocks have DUAL external compression and rebound
adjustments on the shock bodies for fast, efficient dialing in.
They are a fantastic match with anything from sport springs to very
stiff race springs, and work wonderfully with plenty of much needed
stroke on the street or track.

Notice the difference between standard length and the Koni D/A
short stroke dampers; they offer reduced ride hight with out loss
of compression stroke.

require any removal from the vehicle for adjustments)

Installation Notes:
Drilling of adjustment hole in bottom of front spindles required
for adjustment after install.
If you select "short stroke" front struts (show next to Koni
full-length struts). This lets you run custom or very low race
springs easily, but requires strut tube shortening.
- PLEASE NOTE: Rear shocks require the use of 12mm upper shock
mounts, available below...
VAC Tech Tip:
Dampers are probably the most dramatic improvement in a suspension
system. The quality of, and ability to tune these dampers let you
obtain far greater performance than possible with standard
suspension and most all inexpensive coilover systems.
