VAC Severe Duty Valve sets are precision made to meet the needs of
the extreme forced-induction racer.
Intake valves are forged, one-piece Stainless Steel, while the
exhaust valves are a Severe Duty Alloy known as Inconel.
This set is built for super high horsepower forced induction, turbo
or Supercharger applications, and/or Nitrous Oxide equipped M5x/S5x
engines that generate super high combustion temps.
Individually tested in the lab and proven in the field in record
setting vehicles, our Severe Duty Valves will survive where no
others will.
Our valves feature:
- One piece high tech alloy construction for maximum heat
resistance (compared to 2 piece valves which fail at weld, and
deteriorate at high boost)
- Single (1) groove keeper style for maximum deformation and heat
related failure resistance
- Extreme heavy duty; these survive where nothing else will
- Tested to 9500RPMs
- Valve sets are sold (+1mm) oversized for high horsepower
applications by default. Std size also available.
VAC Tech Tip:
These valves are built for high heat and severe duty. With our
valve springs they should prove exceptionally reliable.
For naturally aspirated high revving applications, or applications
below 120HP per cylinder, we recommend our complete set of
Stainless Steel Valves as they are lighter.
Specify if you need our full valve set or just exhaust
valves.
