If you’re looking to refinish a set of BBS wheels, a set of OEM
factory rims, or just give a stylish finish to any type of vehicle
wheel; these paints are a fast-drying lacquer that matches the
standard alloy wheel paint use by Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi
and most other European OEMs.
The combination of this excellent Wheel Lacquer Paint and Clear
Coat can be effectively used for spot repairs or full wheel
restoration.
Quality nozzle design produces a consistent and even spray that is
easy to control and produces very close to a factory finish from a
can!
Both Silver & Gold Wheel Lacquer is durable and chip resistant
and looks great for a lasting repair, not just a dirty fix.
With these products you can get professional looking results at
home.
Even if your wheels were not originaly this color, richen then
up: a great color to refinish OZ, Borbet, Breyton and other
European wheels. Works on all types of wheels and even looks great
on steel wheels too!
Painting Tips from the
pros:
-Use many, very light coats and allow 30 minutes drying time
between coats. Patience pays off!
-If you must spread your refinish job overall several days,
complete each wheel at one sitting so the paint and clear coat can
mechanically and chemically adhere to one another.
-Body filler, available at any auto parts store can be used to
repair scratches and deep gouges before paint is applied.
-These Metallic Colors will have a very similar look and feel to
the original German wheel finish when properly top coated with the
clear-coat spray.
-For best results use two uniform coats of Clear Lacquer as the
final topcoat. Let dry completely before installing!!! Don’t rush
this.
-One can of wheel paint is typically enough product to coat (2)
wheels.
-One can of Clear Coat can coat 2-4 wheels depending on size and
refinish needed.
-For the best results, use at temperatures between 70 and 90
degrees F, at low humidity.

- Light touch-ups, small wheels, and lip refinishes will likely
only need one can of each.
