The benefits of our Performance Shim Under
Lifter Kit are great for those with high lift cams!
Also know as a "Cam Follower Kit" or "Shim-under lifter", this kit
is designed to replace the factory cam followers and shims giving
you a lighter, more reliable valve train without any problems at
high RPM and with long duration/ high lift cams.
First, since our kit is lighter than the TRD kits, it allows for
best throttle response and very little stress on the valve train.
This lightness also allows the lifters (followers) to follow the
cams more closely with less pressure (meaning less wear); allowing
you to rev to higher RPMs with less risk.
Our cam followers and shims are both reference hardened for
durability. Our kit also cost less than many from Japan, with
excellent quality due to modern manufacturing capabilities.
This kit is a necessity for those with racing camshafts (greater
than 10mm cam lift) but also a great way to dramatically improve
the high-RPM reliability of your 4A-G.
- Our kit consists of:
- (16) Lightweight Solid Lifters
- (16) Grind to thickness shims
VAC Tech Tip:
-This kit
is required when using racing-spec camshafts
(anything LARGER than 10 mm lift).
-Acceptable for use on street or racing vehicles.
-If no grinder is available, measure lash and we can supply many
thicknesses on request
