From our differential building and racing experience, we are offering this awesome differential cover for your 135 and 335! BMW will tell you that the gear oil is a life-time fill, sadly that nonsense that helps them skirt costs. This frustration is compounded by the fact that the OE diff cover doesn't even have drain and fill plugs!

Under hard use,  LSDs equipped diffs can run very hot, even the OS Giken diffs have been known to cook gear oil. Our finned cover is stronger and offers much better heat dissipation that these cars need when going to the track.

Each VAC Finned Diff Cover Features:

• Increase oil capacity by a whopping 50%
• Increase cooling capacity via heat-dissipating fins
• Machined from a single billet of 6061-T6 aluminum
• Drain and fill holes are machined for “AN” style o-ring plugs; easy conversion to a diff oil-cooler setup
• Integral vent for street cars; pre-machined provision for external catch-can setup for racecars
• Pre-machined provision for differential oil temperature sensor
• OE Quality 10.9 grade flanged hex head hardware provided

-Fits RWD and AWD XI models!
-Convertible Models (E93 and E88 cabrio) require slight modifications to OEM chassis bracing: 3 longer bolts are required, and only the Street Cover will clear this chassis.
