When you wish to fit your S14 with large race cams, you will find that the OEM cam box needs additional room added for clearance of the high-lift lobes.
With our line-honing machine, we offer this service to our customers who can take advantage of our precision pre-machine cam boxes along with their high lift cams. This is ideal if your machine shop does not have access to this machine, or you are wanting the job done right by the experienced machinist at VAC.
Cams with a lift larger than 12.1mm will need to be fitted to a modified cam box.
The Schrick 308* degree duration and above
must be modified
, but due to BMWs manufacturing difference, cam-boxes fitted with the Schrick 12mm lift, 292* cams at times need to be modified as well.

Enlarged to handle the largest cams you can install on an S14
In-stock and ready to ship for no downtime
Pricing:
$200 core charge + ($150 for intake only) / ($225 for intake and exhaust set).
Core charge is refunded when you send us a standard cambox within 30 days of purchase and with a return authorization number.
