For the E34 M5:
The S38 is an older engine that generates a lot of heat! Wires can
still look clean but slowly be failing inside leaving you
stranded.
If you see any track use, or simply want the best wires you can get

From experience we have learned that wire terminations other than
the OEM Beru do not provide the same tight seal to the valve cover
and can work loose and suddenly pop off!...That cylinder won't
fire! We use the real OEM connections for this reason.

the engine, the spark plug does not receive spark and your engine
runs poorly or not at all.
