The dual spring configuration we use is superior by design: Our
springs are each shot-peened for stress relief and interference fit
to control harmonic resonance across the rev range. In this
configuration, should something happen to one spring, the other can
prevent the valve from dropping and causing catastrophic
damage.
These spring kits are also capable of controlling much higher lift
than others to handle even the most aggressive of cams without any
problems... And, after rigorous testing in many different
configurations, these Valve Springs still tests out within 2% of
their original rate season after season of track use!
Our VAC Steel Alloy retainers offer lightweight, hardened
construction. This hardening process makes them strong and
resilient while still being lighter than OEM. We also coat our
retainers for low friction aiding in reliability.
Utilizing a unique design Vs OEM, our retainers have less inertia
and greater strength under all conditions.
Ideal for endurance racing or daily driving.
VAC Titanium Retainers offer an even lighter choice than our steel
alloy. Ideal for very high RPM extreme street and race use. When do
you want to select Ti retainers? A good indicator is when budget is
a non issue on a street car or you are building a race vehicle.
