Engine Management
The heart of Stage 3 is our KMS Engine Management package, provided by a top of the line yet- still cost effective MA25 KMS ECU.
Enclosed in a rugged, mil-spec billet aluminum enclosure, with compact and lightweight design, easy to use software, and super fast central processing chip with on-board data logging; it asserts itself as a well engineered and easy to use product that suits the S14 engine perfectly.
We all know that not everyone can make it to VAC for dyno tuning, but the KMS is so simple and logical to understand, no dyno tuning shop should have any reservations about tuning it: All software is familiar and well laid out for fast and user friendly use. If there are any question, we provide professional tech support.

Easy To Tune
Stage 3 pro includes a KMS integrated "Lambda Controller" with the option to later add an in car Wide-Band Lambda display. The ability to display other outputs you select from the ECU (oil temp, watter temp, boost pressure, etc) are also part of this component and this makes engine health monitoring a cinch!
Built in Wide-Band O2 sensor and controller enable self-learning "target lambda" functionality, and greatly simplifies install and dyno tuning. Along with our base maps, you can have your S14 perfectly tuned in a just a few short hours! This is huge!

Superior Ignition Control
One of the secrets to making great power safely on the S14 is very accurate ignition control. Our Stage 3 Pro kit eliminates the antiquated factory ignition coil and mechanical distributor setup completely. Replacing it with the more modern and favorable distributor-less wasted spark KMS ignition coil for increased reliability, efficiency, and the net result: a smoother, more powerful and responsive S14.

Crank Trigger
The KMS ECU gets it's crank signal from the VAC Crank Trigger kit also included for trouble free install and use. Deceivingly simple; this aerospace grade crank trigger sensor, trigger wheel, and mounting bracket mean reliable and accurate control for the life of the vehicle.

Throttle Position Sensor
Our simple to use VAC TPS adapter kit is included. The standard S14 TPS is not a potentiometer type, and only functions as an on and off switch. Our kit provides a 0-100% Throttle signal to the KMS ECU without any fabrication required.

DTM Airbox Kit
Also included is our exquisite VAC DTM Carbon Fiber Airbox with full installation kit and snorkel. Nothing budget minded about this piece other than its price! The craftsmanship of our Airbox Kit is the best you have ever come across, you will be thrilled! This is what you need to make maximum all motor power from a stock to fully modified S14. With this kit, a 2.5 liter and 284/272 Schrick cams, through tuning you can achieve a S14 that idles like stock with greatly improved drivability and torque! Even a 292/284 cam setup can be a pleasant street car with just a slight hint of the monster inside. It's even possible to go with forced induction or with an engine swap down the road.
