from your Supercharged BMW
VAC's Supercharger-Cam set is made to exacting specifications;
designed to provide excellent gains for BMW engines fitted with
after market supercharger kits and by popular request, we now make
these in series to save you money.
Our S/C camshaft set has been dyno tested and real-world proven to
work great along with supercharger kits from all the various
manufactures. Proven to improve horsepower and torque across the
rev-range compared to OEM BMW cams and other aftermarket cam sets
intended for naturally aspirated applications, such as the Schick
264 in / 256 Ex set.
They do this with exemplary reliability, smooth idle, and a wide
power band- so they are at home on the street or the track. They
even work with your OE valve springs.
VAC Tech Notes:
-These cams are designed to work with the M50/M52 VANOS engines, as
well as S50us & S52us engines.
-High performance valve springs kits are not required but can be
recommended for additional protection and for regular track
use.
-As when installing any new camshaft; new lifters should be
installed to insure no excessive wear or damage occurs to the
camshaft.
-Dyno tuning or an ECU flash can help to get the most power out of
this cam set. Many S/C manufactures can offer a corresponding tune
for this set with their S/C kits.
