Diagnose brake performance at a glace
Most of us consider pad and rotor temps when we think about the
brake system; but why monitor brake Caliper temps?
By monitoring the caliper temperatures, you can make sure that the
working range of the brake fluid has not been exceeded and if so
equipped, that your dust boots haven't been damaged.
If the temperatures exceed a safe range, fluid vaporization can
occur causing loss of brake function and rapid deterioration of
fluid. These quick to install stick-on temp monitors adhere to your
calipers allowing visual inspection of temps after track sessions.
Used by hobbyists and racers alike.
