Clutch Masters Twin Disc systems are racing technology that also works well in high performance street applications. They are designed to hold tremendous horsepower and torque ratings, while retaining a very smooth operation. By slightly increasing the clamping force of the pressure plate and adding to the square inches of usable disc area, CM Twin Discs significantly increase clamping values with only a 25-30% increase in pedal pressure for your BMW
The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum with 25% more tensile strength than competing cast unit.

Aluminum Flywheel: Flywheel is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA and NASA. Each aluminum flywheel includes a replaceable heat shield
Steel Flywheel: Billet Steel is great for drag racing and more abusive driving. Meets SFI spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA and NASA.

The Clutch Masters FX1000 is a 10.00” (254mm) Twin Disc clutch unit designed for high horsepower applications with heavy street use. The strap-driven plate design allows for smooth engagement and minimal clutch chatter while still being able to withstand clutch kicking and high RPM’s shifting. Designed for the enthusiast who pushes the limit of performance on their street driven vehicle.

The Clutch Masters Factory Fit FX400 Series Twin Discs kit for the 2021+ BMW G80 M3 and G82 M4 with the amazing S58 engine and a 6-Speed manual transmission was developed to bridge the gap between replacing the comfortable driving twin disc that came in these cars from the factory and one of our more race orientated 725, 850 or 1000 Series twin disc kits. As OE auto manufactures continue to push for more and more power, they are typically equipping those cars lucky enough to be outfitted with a manual transmission with a twin disc clutch. But what happens when the factory clutch starts to wear out or slip because you've modified and tuned the car? Lots of owners of these higher end powerful cars still want to maintain a car that is easy to drive on the street, yet still be able to reliably take the abuse they inevitably want to throw at it. Most aren't looking to go full race car and install a twin disc designed for such use, there has to be a compromise.

Our answer to these dilemmas is our Factory Fit FX Series Twin Disc Clutch Kits. Using components similar to what came in the car from the factory, our engineering team does everything they can to expand and improve upon the OE twin disc in many ways. Using higher end friction materials, lighter materials and our expertise in developing performance clutch kits for over 45 years, we dial in a twin disc kit that bridges the gap between full race car and luxury daily driver making serious horsepower. In the case of the BMW G8x twin disc, we have done away with the factory self-adjusting cover, a little over 10lbs of weight reduction in the entire assembly, and we have gone from an 8.5" disc to a 9.5" disc for significantly more disc surface area.

The Clutch Masters FX Series Twin Disc kits utilize our proven friction materials found in our FX Series Single Disc Clutch kits and are available in several different configurations to suit you and your cars needs.

The Factory Fit FX400 Series Twin disc will come as a complete replacement kit utilizing a lightweight aluminum Type 3 hard anodized flywheel, steel floater, factory style stamped steel cover, two DLX clutch discs utilizing our ceramic friction material, throw out bearing, and clutch fork.

This clutch is designed for the street enthusiast who is making considerable amounts of power over the stock setup. The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) ceramic full face disc design creates a quick and rapid engagement and maintains minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion between the disc linings.

**Ceramic based clutch disc are not intended to increase the life expectancy of a clutch but rather to increase the holding capacity and improve the durability of the clutch. Using a ceramic based material for easy street driving may reduce the life of the clutch kit due to harsh engagement and higher tendency to slip the clutch kit. Ceramic disc are never recommended for stock or near stock vehicle applications.**

The TR Clutch series line-up was designed for vehicles which have substantial increases in engine power. This clutch is often found in time attack track cars and Pro-Am drift vehicles to handle medium to heavy engine tuning as well as the heat built up from these types of racing. The billet aluminum cover provides a more direct clutch pedal feel, but still maintains ease of engagement due to the unique leverage mechanism of the diaphragm spring to reduce overall pedal effort.
