VAC Motorsports has been developing BMW S54 engines since their introduction in 2000. After decades of testing at the highest levels of motorsport, we identified the factory block’s limitation: the stock cast iron unit reliably supports roughly 900–1500 HP before structural integrity becomes a concern.

The VAC Billet Aluminum Wet Block for BMW S54 is CNC-machined entirely in-house from high-strength 6061-T6 billet aluminum, heat-treated after machining, and engineered to support extreme forced induction, high-RPM race applications, and serious drag builds — all while retaining proper coolant flow for street and track reliability.
