Looking for a way to optimize your race car's alignment for the track? Look no further than Ground Control Racing Caster/Camber Plates. Please note that these plates are not intended for street/sport vehicles.
These plates feature a clean page design and provide more camber and caster adjustment than any other camber plate on the market without requiring modification of the strut towers. This is important, as bending, cutting, or rewelding the struts for more negative camber is illegal within SCCA rules. Ground Control Racing Camber/Caster Plates provide a legal way to achieve better performance on the track.
In addition to offering more camber and caster adjustment than stock, these plates come with aircraft bearings, are engraved with calibrated degrees, and feature steel reinforcement. Every component is anodized or plated, including fasteners. They also add extra travel to avoid excessive bottoming out. Overall, this is a well-engineered product that prioritizes fast, repeatable alignment changes at the track.
Ground Control camber plates feature two sets of bearings. The first is a proprietary bearing made to their specs by Aurora in the USA, which allows for articulation of the shock shaft. The second is a completely separate articulating needle bearing, which supports the weight of the car. This design is superior to those that support the weight of the car on a spherical bearing, which can be overstressed. Be wary of imitations that claim to use Aurora or USA bearings but actually use bearings from China. Ground Control can prove that they use Aurora bearings, as they are confident that USA still makes the best bearings in the world.
