The Profi II ASM is designed to be used as a four pointsystem. For this reason it is perfect for use in Driver Education cars or anyother application where stock seats are retained. A seat that was notoriginally desiged for use with a racing restraint should never be modified toaccept an sub strap.

The Profi II ASM incorporates Schroth's legendary ASM(Anti-SubMarining) technology that is the only thing like it on the market. ASMis an extra fold of material sewn into the right shoulder belt that elongatesat a different rate than the outboard belt. This allows your upper torso totwist slightly. On the rebound phase, your torso is planted firmly back in theseat rather than allowed to slide under the lap belt.

The Profi II ASM shoulder is only available in 3" widthbut is still suitable for use with a Forward Neck Restraint such as a HANSdevice

You can add a dual sub strap to make this belt into a 6point at any time. We have recently tested this harness with a HANS device, andthe results were great. So you can in fact use this harness with a HANS device.

Another feature unique to the Profi Series 2" lap beltsis the "Flexi Belt". The End Fittings and Cam Latches are wrappedinto the harness, making it so that the lap belt can be changed from a Pull Upconfiguration to a Pull Down. This allows you to set the belt up just the wayyou want it for your specific situation. It also allows for Bolt In brackets tobe wrapped in for the lap belts if needed. Snap in brackets come standard onthe laps.

The Shoulders come ready to wrap around a roll bar. Snap inor Bolt in attachments can be bought separately. The Lap Belts come withSnap-in Attachments. Bolt-in brackets can be wrapped in if necessary.

Please note, Cam locks can be swapped, so if you areinterested in this harness with a street legal FE Push Button cam lock, it canbe purchased separately.

The Profi II ASM FE is essentially the same as the Profi IIASM, except it features a Push-Button Cam lock for applications where streetdriving is anticipated. The red push button that says "Press" isnecessary to retain street legality and so an EMT that shows up at an accidentscene will know how to release your restraint. The FE version also featuressewn in bendable Bolt-In tabs for the lap belt attachment points, for use inapplications where space is limited. Because of the sewn in end fittings, the Flexilap belt is not available in this harness. It is designed to be used as a fourpoint system. For this reason it is perfect for use in Driver Education cars orany other application where stock seats are retained. A seat that was notoriginally desiged for use with a racing restraint should never be modified toaccept an sub strap.

You can add a dual sub strap to make this belt into a 6point at any time. We have tested this harness with a HANS device and theresults were great. You can also use this 4 point ASM Harness with a HANSdevice!

The lap belts provided with this harness are only availablein the Bolt-In style as they are most commonly needed in setups requiringstreet legality. If you need different setups, please call or email us. Theseare available in both Pull-up and Pull-down.

The shoulder belts are Wrap-In style, using an LV 7.

The adjusters on the Clubman belt are heavier and not as easy to use. They are, however, cheaper and bring down the overall cost of the harness. In addition the Sub strap does not have adjusters and the lap hardware is not interchangeable.
