FITTINGS

The merged fuel pump outlet is tapped for 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female threads on the top plate. An SAE quick connecter barb is provided to connect to the OEM feed line.

The fuel return inlet is tapped for 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female threads on the top plate. An 8.5mm barbed adapter is provided to connect to the OEM return line.

All fittings are machined low enough to clear the surrounding area.

PUMP COMPATIBILITY

This hanger is configured to be used with 1 or 2 aftermarket fuel pumps. These can be 2-wire brushed fuel pumps or 3-4 wire brushless fuel pumps. Choosing the best fuel pump is based on the expected engine power output, fuel type (gasoline, E85, etc.), and fuel pressure. The following pumps are compatible:

FUEL STARVATION PROTECTION

Several mechanisms work together to move fuel into the integrated collector and keep it full at all times. This ensures the pump(s) have adequate fuel available, even during aggressive driving. The integrated fuel tank collector is supplied with fuel from 3 different sources:

The OEM collector bowl has a labyrinth. This keeps fuel from leaving the collector bowl when cornering.
The constant low pressure returning fuel from the regulator activates the venturi jet pump siphon and also fills the collector bowl.
The crossover fuel scavenged from the passive side of the tank from the venturi jet pump siphon is constantly filling the collector bowl.

PRV VENTURI JET PUMP

The OEM venturi jet pump is replaced with an innovative Radium Engineering variation. The venturi jet pump has a built-in pressure relief valve to control excessive fuel return flow. This is a common problem when using high flow pump(s) at low loads. This excessive pressure would pop-off the OEM venturi jet pump connection and prevent fuel transfer, ultimately leaving the vehicle stranded. The PRV venturi jet pump also permits low static fuel pressures.

ELECTRICAL

The custom designed stainless steel electrical studs easily handle the high current demand that compact multi-pin bulkhead connectors lack. They have an anti-rotation feature that prevents the terminals from spinning. These serviceable connections are hermetically sealed and impervious to all standard and exotic fuels. Non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts are provided to prevent any accidental short circuiting. Furthermore, the in-tank wiring is insulated with high quality chemically resistant ETFE.

NOTES

Single pump installations can re-use the OEM fuel pump wiring.
It is recommended to upgrade OEM wiring to ensure the single pump is receiving full power and operating at maximum potential.
If using a second pump, a new dedicated relay and fuse pump MUST be used.

These kits provide all necessary plumbing to and from the engine including a fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel lines, adapter fittings, and mounting hardware.

First, a low profile 8AN male banjo fitting is installed to the fuel hanger pump outlet. 8AN PTFE fuel hose runs to the LH side over the top of the fuel tank. It then turns downward and routes along the underside of the chassis through 2 billet fuel/brake line retainers. A new billet high flow fuel filter is mounted in the OEM location. Elements are either 10 micron stainless (-03) or 6 micron microglass (-05). Go HERE for more filter element information. From the fuel filter outlet, another 8AN PTFE fuel hose runs into the engine bay and towards the front of the fuel rail (not included). A low profile 8AN male banjo fitting is installed to the fuel rail. A direct mount fuel pressure regulator and gauge is mounted at the rear of the fuel rail.

A new 6AN return hose with an SAE quick connect adapter is constructed to route fuel from the direct mount regulator to the rear. A low profile 6AN male banjo fitting is installed to the fuel hanger return port, as shown below.

New vacuum tubing is provided to replace the OEM hard lines.

Race tested an proven oil cooler system for the M50, S50, S52 series engines.

Design features include:

-8AN o-ring ports to provide a leak free fitting without the use of Teflon tape or sealant used by other oil cooler caps.
Viton o-rings are used throughout to maintain function and sealing in a high temperature oil environment.
Use of the stock filter cap bolt to reduce cost and simplify installation.
An internal sealing mechanism to direct oil flow through the oil cooler and through the filter.
1/8" NPT side port for external oil pressure gauge.

The cap is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and hard coat anodized for scratch resistance and to keep the oil cooler cap looking good for years.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the only oil cooler cap available with an actual sealing mechanism to direct the oil flow through the cooler lines and then through the oil filter. Other cooler caps do not provide this seal and therefore the external oil coolers and lines act as a "balloon". The lines and cooler are pressurized, but oil does not flow through them. Flowing oil means it is being cooled and not just acting as an external reservoir.

We have run an oil cooler cap flow comparison testing with a Hedland 0-5.5 GPM flow meter. The difference in FLOW between our oil cooler cap, the euro M3 oil filter housing, and the competition was astounding!

Recent flow testing shows that the oil cooler cap will outflow the Euro M3 Oil Filter Housing by more than 80% at the same, pressure, RPM, and oil temperature. That is a huge difference in flow. In the upper RPM range, there is nearly a 100% improvement in flow from the RallyRoad oil cooler cap when compared to the Euro M3 oil filter housing. This is a worthwhile and cost effective upgrade.

Each oil cooler cap assembly also comes with a lower filter sealing ring and a new BMW MANN Oil Filter Kit.

This adapter sleeve and clamp simplifies the installation of an Aeromotive or Walbro fuel pump into the factory fuel pump housing and carrier.

Included is an all stainless steel mil-spec hose clamp to secure the fuel pump. There is a ledge on the bottom of the fuel pump sleeve which stops the pump from sliding too far down, but the clamp is to keep the pump secure.

Optional, is an angled fuel pump filter sock (fuel pump strainer). The fuel pump filter is made to fit the large center inlet fuel pumps. Normally, the fuel pumps with large center inlet have the "340" number associated with them.

This comprehensive kit includes all the Radium Engineering components required to construct a high performance fuel delivery system for the MKIV Toyota Supra. The Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger permits the use of 1, 2, or 3 aftermarket pumps in the stock MK4 Toyota Supra (JZA80) fuel tank.

To simplifying aftermarket -AN hose plumbing, the 10AN ORB threaded feed port features a low profile 8AN male fitting and the 8AN ORB threaded return port features a low profile 6AN male fitting. To reconnect the OEM return and vent hoses, 8.5mm barb fittings are also included. Furthermore, no permanent modification to the OEM fuel tank access cover is required.

The low profile design keeps all wiring tucked nicely underneath the OEM fuel tank cover using the provided foam insulation. Nonconductive acorn nuts are provided to prevent any accidental short circuits. Furthermore, the high quality in-tank wiring is insulated with chemically resistant PTFE. Electrical hardware is included for the fuel pump(s), OEM level sender, and OEM temperature sensor.

One issue with all Supra fuel pump hangers is the lack of fuel starvation protection. In this kit, the flow from the FPR return line powers a Radium jet pump. Using a venturi-effect, this "mechanical" pump draws fuel from outside the sub-tank and distributes it directly to the pump inlets.

As shown, the sub-tank stays full in all driving conditions.

A bespoke stainless steel triple pump mesh strainer is included for proper fuel pump inlet filtration.

Because all compatible fuel pumps utilize integrated check valves, the pump outlets merge into a single 10AN billet collector.

Single pump applications can reuse the OEM fuel pump controller wiring, but it is recommended to upgrade the OEM wiring as these high flow fuel pumps draw additional current requiring larger gauge wire. Notes:

OPTION

20-0415-0X FUEL HANGER PLUMBING KIT, MKIV SUPRA
The plumbing kits include everything required to plumb the fuel system. This includes pre-made -10AN and -8AN PTFE feed lines that run from the fuel pump hanger through the fuel filter to an aftermarket 8AN ORB fuel rail (not included). The fuel lines clear the OEM fuel pump cover and do not require any cutting or drilling to get them past the fuel tank.

A -6AN fuel hose runs from the FPR (not included) to the pump hanger return port. The fuel lines run though these billet aluminum fuel brake line retainers.

The included Radium Engineering fuel filter mounts underneath the vehicle using a specifically designed MKIV Supra (JZA80) bolt-on billet mount.

Depending on the kit selected (-01,-03,-05), the fuel filter will be assembled with 1 of 3 different elements. Go HERE for more filter element information.

The Radium fuel pump hanger permits the use of one or two AEM 50-1220 E85 high-flow fuel pumps and is compatible with the following vehicles:

2012+ Toyota GT86
2012+ Subaru BRZ
12-16 Scion FR-S

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. This system requires the use of an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.
2. This system eliminates the OEM hanger's "post" fuel pump filter. A low micron aftermarket fuel filter should be installed downstream to protect the injectors from contaminants.

The machined assembly mounts in the factory fuel tank using the OEM ring and gaskets and reuses the OEM fuel level sender. A single -8AN male pump feed port and -6AN male return port simplify aftermarket -AN hose plumbing. The complete assembly fits under the OEM access cover without modification.

The custom designed stainless electrical studs easily handle the high current demand that compact bulkhead connectors lack. These serviceable connections are properly sealed and impervious to all standard and exotic fuels. The low profile design keeps all wiring tucked nicely underneath the OEM cover plate. Nonconductive acorn nuts are provided to prevent any accidental short circuits. Furthermore, the high quality in-tank wiring is insulated with chemically resistant PTFE.

The kit includes a venturi jet pump with a pressure-relief valve. Without a properly designed jet pump, fuel cannot be properly transferred from the passive side of the OEM saddle bag fuel tank to the active side where the pump(s) reside. When fuel pump flow is increased, the OEM jet pump becomes too restrictive creating unwanted backpressure in the FPR return line causing excessive fuel rail pressure.

The kit also includes a vehicle-specific contoured billet aluminum collector box. There are two 1" check valve balls incorporated on the tank that serves as trap doors keeping the pump(s) supplied dynamically with fuel during aggressive driving. Furthermore, all returning fuel from the pressure regulator return and the crossover hose enter the collector box through a one-way duckbill valve keeping it full. The duckbill valve prevents back flow and reduces noise from fuel spray. The collector box also permits a mounting solution for the OEM fuel level sender.

Single pump applications (shown above) can reuse the OEM fuel pump controller wiring, but it is recommended to upgrade the wiring as these high flow fuel pumps draw additional current requiring larger gauge wire. The fuel hanger plumbing kits convert the OEM returnless system to a traditional return system. They include everything required to connect directly to the OEM or aftermarket fuel rails for both single and dual pump configurations. A -8AN PTFE hose attaches to a Radium Engineering fuel filter that mounts underneath the vehicle using a specifically designed FT86 bolt-on bracket. Depending on the kit selected (-03 or -05), the fuel filter will be assembled with 1 of 2 different elements. Go HERE for more filter element information.

The fuel filter is secured to an inline Radium fuel presssure gauge which is attached to an adjustable Radium fuel pressure regulator. The FPR can be used to mimic the OEM fuel system or it can be ran 1:1 with a vacuum reference. -6AN PTFE hoses are included to connect to the fuel rail and high pressure fuel pump.

Aeromotive's "Stealth 340" LPH is a high-output, in-tank, electric fuel pump that fits most popular EFI applications, including most BMWs.

The 340 is a compact, lightweight pump that bolts into most existing hanger assemblies and is capable of delivering a huge amount of fuel to your motor, or in-line pump.

What sets the Stealth 340 apart is its superior flow throughout a wide pressure range in its compact body. Compared to a typical direct replacement size 255LPH at 40 psi, the 340 LPH boasts over 30% more flow, making this pump ideal for applications requiring high fuel flow while retaining factory wiring and mounting provisions available in the Original Equipment (O.E.) configuration. This pump can typically deliver 100% more fuel than most factory issue pumps.

The 340 is rated at a true 340LPH is also ideal for use on BMWs that are converted to alternative fuels and/or have big power upgrades making more than 500BHP. We offer the 'center' pickup version as this draws from directly below where it is mounted as most BMWs have this configuration. This is also a reliable high performance choice and can be used on daily drivers or race cars.

Tech Notes:

- This is very close to a direct replacement pump for many 1987 and on BMW applications, however, some slight mods are typically needed to the pump housings, etc.
Accordingly, these pumps are sold for custom install and without application-specific instructions.

- While this pump is capable of delivering huge flow, keep in mind standard BMW fuel lines are only so large. Larger lines and bigger fuel rail may be needed for your application, typically those over 500 wheel HP on the 4 and 6 cylinder apps.

- Make sure this pump sees as much electrical current as possible and test for solid voltage during install, especially on older pre-2000 production models.

- While this pump is compatible with E85, we remind you that E85 has very high solvent properties and can quickly cause particulates from the fuel system to become loose and lodge in the pump. If you will be running E85 with an aftermarket pump, manufacturers strongly suggest adding additional fuel filters to the system.

Often referred to as the "044" Motorsports pump, the same Bosch quality as used by super high HP custom street cars, pro Touring Cars, and almost all WRC cars is yours.
