If you look at the current technology available to the BMW enthusiast; its clear that there are many Koni and 
Bilstein based solutions for the damper and coilover customer. While these have 
their place, all of these are based on decades old technology that has its inherited limitations as mass produced products.
 
For those that love products that deliver outstanding performance, and quality- with the understanding that these cost a bit more; we are very happy to provide them with the JRZ RS1 damper kit.
Available for a growing list of high-end late model BMW chassis, RS1 shocks and struts represent the latest technology developed 
from professional racing dampers to offer this technology to the enthusiast. RS1 
however are the latest generation of tech, with only a small cost premium over

The most obvious improvement of what RS1 offer over the old standards is
absolutely amazing handling with terrific ride quality. Not one or the 
other, but a both without compromise. That means even with lower ride 
heights, higher spring rates, and aggressive driving over uneven surfaces; the chassis is far more composed than 
any typical mass produced shock, 
even over rough pavement and on your favorite street road.
  
In their soft setting range, 
they offer ride that is typically as, or more comfortable, and faster than even OEM on 
the street. For the times when you wish to go to the track, you may quickly adjust the 
suspension stiffer for smooth- high grip surfaces, and expect sharp and 
athletic response suitable for a true track day car. NO other suspension offers 
this level of adjustment to such a high degree at the RS1!

The RS Series offer 
	the client consistent, durable, repeatable results through quality materials 
	and motorsports level adjustability that nothing in this price range can 
	touch. JRZ worked for many years to develop a 'dual use' system that is 
	sensitive enough for those who have felt the suspension of a competitive 
	race car with shocks that can cost over 10k dollars, but durable enough for 
	a street car that can see every day use if the owner wishes.
	JRZ's valving and wide range of adjustability allows for everything from 
	complaint street rates, around the 400 lbs. range all the way up to rates 
	typically found on dedicated track machines in the 800-1000 lbs. without 
	issue.  Others adjustable dampers used in lesser kits manage only about 
	+/- 150lbs of range before there valving is outside of ideal.
	
	RS1 (NEW) (1 adjuster, dual compression and rebound): allows 
	the driver to adjust ride with a single adjustment knob for the ease of use 
	and cost friendliness of a street car suspension. The RS1 system offers a 
	very wide range of adjustment, so weather your matching your chassis to 
	performance street rates and tires, or stiff race-springs and R-compounds: 
	the RS1 works fabulously!
	Unlike 'budget minded' lines from other companies; each RS1 series shock is 
	a direct descendent of winning RS-Pro technology, with high rigidity not 
	found in other street-derived mono-tube shocks.
	These are a truly motorsport 
	derived product, engineered from a high end solution to be more affordable- 
	not developed to meet a price point. This may be the last word in 
	easy-to-use adjustable suspension! (also available matched to Eibach or H&R 
	sport springs for an affordable, comfortable and highly sporty street 
	solution that is non-hight adjustable.)
	RS1 Update: RS1 kits from VAC do not have the noise issues that were part of the first batch 
sold. Buy with 100% confidence.
	RS (2 adjuster, independent compression and rebound) : an 
	affordable two-way solution that's dominant in BMW club racing. 2-way and 
	easily adjustable, with no external reservoirs. These systems meet the needs 
	of the dedicated club driver, or high end street car street car that spends 
	weekends at the track in a competitive setting. Popular for a reason and 
	highly sensitive to adjustment. The RS's control of both compression 
	and rebound adjustment, independently. One can adjust the JRZ’s rebound without affecting 
	compression. 
	The advantage of gas pressure is that it stops oil from foaming 
	and provides lifting force for the piston. No one else has figured out how 
	to build a seal that allows gas pressure in a true twin tube. JRZ is the 
	only one in the world that can do this. It’s something they’ve learned at 
	showroom stock racing, and their package now gets this technology to the 
	affordable road system or your track car.
	RS-Pro (2 adjuster, independent compression and rebound w/ external 
	reservoir): Allows the driver 
	to adjust compression and rebound, with the added heat dissipation and 
	reserve of an external reservoir. A favorite of exotic car enthusiasts and 
	often found on Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris that raced and driven 
	hard by real enthusiasts, but can still keep excellent street composure.
	The RS-Pro system offers a very wide range of adjustment, so weather your 
	matching your chassis to performance street rates and tires, or stiff 
	race-springs and R-compounds: the RS-Pro works fabulously!
	High rigidity motorsport derived dampers deliver exceptional body control 
	for any street scenario or lap after lap of punishment.

Complimentary add-on products:
Camber Plates: Required to use the RS series in a coilover arrangement. Adding Ground 
Controls very high quality camber 
plate set allows for more front camber or caster for sharp turn it characteristics 
and high grip with very little-to no street compromise. JRZ approved as well!
Tender Springs: Can add the positive qualities of sport springs by 
capturing the linear rate springs and improving/quieting ride over un-even 
surfaces. A popular upgrade at your discretion.
