When converting a BMW E36 or E46 to a true rear coilover suspension, the factory upper rear control arm becomes a limiting factor. Designed around OEM spring and sway bar architecture, it introduces compliance, deflection, and geometry compromises that undermine the performance gains of high-end coilover systems.

The VAC Upper Rear Control Arms are engineered specifically for true coilover conversions with rear sway bar delete, restoring proper suspension geometry while eliminating unwanted slop under load.

For those who have fitted an aftermarket suspension system, and do not want to have error codes on the onboard computer, the Macht Schnell EDC emulation module is just the thing.

EDC monitoring once the OE dampers are removed can be a bit intrusive on the drivers attention. The on board computer will attempt to communicate an error if the original equipment EDC dampers are disconnected, resulting in numerous error messages thinking that the system has malfunctioned. The MS Emulation Module installs in less than 15 minutes and will fully emulate a fully active EDC environment when activated. The module can be activated/deactivated by via the integrated mini USB port within the module housing and is an inexpensive permanent solution along with any aftermarket suspension system you chose to fit.

The Macht Schnell EDC Emulation Module is possible of the following features:
- The ability to run aftermarket racing suspension/coilover setups in which EDC monitoring is not required
- Compatible with iDrive and non-iDrive systems
- Easy 15-minute installation process with no wire cutting
- Proper emulation of the EDC monitoring system
- No dealer visits or coding required after installation

Note: The Macht Schnell EDC Emulation Module will disable the EDC monitoring system supplied by BMW. What do these offer your M3? In the simplest terms; when you aggressively lower your E30 M3, your suspension is quickly moved out of it's ideal geometry. As well, the relationship between the streering tie rod and control arm move out of harmony.
Our bolt-on spacers help to re-align the original lower control arm orientation for improved cornering grip, and help if you are experiencing bump steer or a vague feel when counter steering.
With our design, the thick billet construction takes the shearing load and alleviates pressure applied to the hardware.
