This Bilstein Sport Damper set (both shocks and struts) are the best non coil over set currently available for your 4 cylinder E21.
These are the ideal match for lowering springs, such as the ones available from Suspension Techniques or H&R.

Excellent for the sporty daily driver or weekend toy.
Great match for sport / lowering springs.
Includes (2) front struts, (2) Rear Shocks

VAC Tech Notes:

These are the correct Bilstein SPORT dampers for 4 cyl E21s. These are not Bilstein Heavy-Duty, OE replacements, or Touring Class...
Beware of what other vendors sell as "Sport" for your E21 as other Bilsteins are not a good match with lowering springs.
New front and rear strut and shock mounts highly recommended when replacing springs and struts.
