Cat Cams is already well known in Europe as a maker of fine camshafts for a variety of applications.

Through proprietary software and testing that they developed in house, Cat Cams has created their own profiles that offer considerable and reliable power gains.

Cams are sold in matching pairs of (2): Intake & Exhaust

Type	Specs	Use
Street/ Sport cams:	291 / 291° - Max lift: 10.75 / 10.75mm	-Excellent all around upgrade from stock -Works best with chip tuning -Can use stock springs
Extreme Street and Track:	292° / 279° - Max lift: 12.45 / 12.00mm	-For use with up rated springs only -Chip tuning , MAF conversion, or standalone ECU will get the best results with these cams
Rally and Race:	299° / 294° - Max lift: 13.25 / 12.75mm 303° / 293° - Max lift: 13.45 / 12.75mm	-As noted; for Hot Rods, Rally cars and Track Machines. -For use with up rated springs only -Must use standalone ECU for best results

VAC Tech Tips:

The ECUs that run these cars are known to not show much increase in engine output unless a chip is tuned for use with camshafts. The rumor is that camshafts don't offer much gain with these engines but this is simply not true.
VAC always recommends High Performance Valve Springs with any camshaft upgrade. These engines are older; up rated springs ensure our customers always get the best performance and reliability they can.
