The QKE10R sequential gearshift technology from Quaife is an exceptional upgrade designed for Lotus Elise/Exige models equipped with the PG1 gearbox. This advanced gearkit replaces the outer gearbox tailcase with a specially engineered Quaife housing, incorporating six straight-cut, close-ratio gears. The compact drum-style sequential gearchange mechanism, combined with the open face dog design, delivers lightning-fast and positive sequential gear shifts.
One of the remarkable features of the QKE10R is its compatibility with the original PG1 bellhousing and other essential components such as the Lotus clutch, differential, driveshafts, and mounting points. This makes installation hassle-free, not only for numerous Lotus models but potentially for the MGF and MG ZR/ZS as well.
The QKE10R gearkit comes with gear ratios tailored to meet the demands of motorsport applications. Additionally, it offers three final drive options, allowing racers to optimize top speed according to their competition requirements.
