Description
Formerly known as the Evo 2, the US-market Evo II USA GRP Racing Seat remains one of your most popular sellers. With a wider width then the standard Evo, the Evo II USA offers a more comfortable fit for many drivers. High grip material at the shoulders helps keep the driver in place, while anti-wear fabric has been added to the seat edges to improve durability.
Why the confusing name change?Years ago, the Evo 2 (or Evo L) was meant to be replaced by the new Evo 2 Plus seat. In comparing the two, the Evo 2 was still slightly wider, but the Evo 2 Plus had a taller profile for taller drivers. Because of these differences, the Evo 2 seat was still extremely popular in the United States - as such, Sparco continued to produce it specifically for this country. In 2012, Sparco decided to officially change the name to the Evo 2 for the rest of the world (including us) making the Evo-line evolution complete. The original Evo 2 (or Evo L) seat is still available for us - it is just now more appropriately named the Evo 2 USA.
The Evo Series is Sparco's most versatile competition seat and is available in four sizes to ensure proper fitment:
• Evo - Medium
• Evo II - Medium-Tall
• Evo II USA - Large
• Evo III - X-Large
