The Sparco Grid Racing Seat is designed to provide the ultimate combination of lateral support, ergonomics and safety. Starting with an all new shell with extra deep side bolsters, and supportive shoulders for excellent lateral support, the Grid makes use of Sparco's new LF (Lightened Fiberglass) Technology. This aramadic fiber-reinforced fiberglass shell makes use of a new manufacturing process that lightens the shell by an average of 3-lbs per seat. This lightweight shell is wrapped with impact-absorbing foam and covered with fire retardant, self-extinguishing fabric. The seat is finished with a unique padding system that is made up of several individual pads attached by Velcro. These pads not only allow for a customized fit, but create natural ventilation channels on the seating surface for unsurpassed cooling on hot days.
