Description

VAC Motorsports Closed Deck Conversion N54/N55

The deck of an engine block MUST provide a distortion-free, rigid surface to provide a pressure-tight seal for the head gasket once the cylinder head is torqued in place. VAC unique inserts were designed to support high power and high boost applications. The unique inserts are specially pressed into the blocked to completely fill up the space around the cylinders. They feature small passages that allow the proper amount of coolant to the deck surface. Next, the engine block is Deck Plate Bored and Honed using our CNC Centroid Machine.

If you're seeking a block to handle high power reliably, our closed deck design is the way to go!

Price does NOT include core engine block or assembly of short block!
