With the original iteration of this product designed and built by VAC for Simeon Mackrides' uber E38 custom 740il, known around the world simply as "Baby," we fine tuned this kit to offer exceptional performance while still offering wonderful drivability.

Designed for the naturally aspirated engine up to the power of a custom-supercharged build, this flywheel is up to the challenge of all out racing while also delivering perfect street manners. 

This proven combination is engineered using the E39 M5 clutch dimensions and layout as a starting point. Even with the OEM M5 clutch, this kit will allow you to put a minimum 400+ HP through the flywheel without any problems as well as keep drivability and noise comfortable enough for quiet daily use.

Using this kit, both straight line vehicle and engine acceleration / deceleration are improved. This flywheel weighs in at just under 16 pounds in comparison to the 38lb factory flywheel; 22lbs LIGHTER than the original and perfectly weighted. This gives you the durability, performance and comfort that your BMW was intended to deliver, but now with more performance potential. This weight also ensures good results when combined with a supercharged engine.

As with all VAC products, this flywheel is precision machined and balanced perfectly every time, with the best fasteners used throughout.
