The front thrust arm bushings on BMW F1X models are prone to failure and premature wear, as the fluid-filled rubber bushings fatigue and crack, leaking damping fluids and resulting in complete failure.

Symptoms of Thrust Arm Bushing failure Include:

• Clunking noises when stopping, taking off, or going over bumps

• Steering wheel vibration

• Steering wandering

• Uneven wear between front tires

• ABS engagement during heavy braking

By replacing the bushings on your front thrust arm bushings, you will experience more direct, precise steering response, and improved handling and braking feedback.

For convenience and quality-assurance, VAC Motorsports offers these thrust arms with our monoball bushings pre-installed. Bushings are also available separately for future maintenance and replacement.
