When drag racing the E36, the cage you're looking for meets different requirements than a typical road-race cage. Have a look at our Drag specific cages - made from the highest quality metals, CNC Mandrel bent with pre-notched tubing and built for real competition use.

Modifying a road race cage or one of those frustrating bolt in cages is a chore. Receiving a high quality, made in the USA cage from VAC means much less time in the shop, with a quick and simple layout that will meet any tracks requirements.

We sell 1-3/4 x .120" wall DOM tubing as standard for the drag cages but can change the material based on your requet. This kit is completely weld in, and is able to fit both sunroof and non-sunroof equipped E36 chassis during installation.
The 10 point is thru-dash, and so requires that your dash be modified for installation. Most other interior components can be retained.

VAC Tech Tip:

• Many experienced chassis fabricators and racers will tell you that a weld in cage is the best choice for installation as it offers improved durability and effectiveness. We don't bother selling bolt-in cages.
