Modifying one of those frustrating bolt in cages is a chore. Receiving a high quality, made in the USA cage from VAC means much less time in the shop, with an engineered design that will meet BMW CCA/SCCA/NASA requirments. We sell 1-3/4 x .095" DOM tubing as standard for cars under 3000 lbs, but can change the material based on your request.

This kit is complete weld in, and is able to fit both sunroof and non-sunroof equipped E36 chassis during installation. This 8 point is thru-dash, and so requires that your dash be modified for installation.

VAC Tech Tip:
Many experienced chassis fabricators and racers will tell you that a weld in cage is the best choice for installation as it offers improved durability and effectiveness. We don't bother selling bolt-in cages.
