VAC Tech Notes:
- Engine RPMs should be kept at less that 7400 with hydraulic lifters for maximum reliability.
- Piston to valve clearance MUST ALWAYS be checked when installing camshafts into these engines.
- VANOS travel must be limited with OEM S50us and S52us pistons, we offer modified VANOS units for bolt-on installs.
- ECU tuning is recommended for maximum power gains.
