Tech Notes:
- The S85 is a hydraulic lifter head; there is no need to adjust lash as with previous Motorsport series engines, but new lifters are recommended upon installation.
- Engine builders MUST always check piston to valve clearance when installing any performance camshaft.
- We recommend that nearly all Camshaft upgrades should be accompanied by
upgraded valve springs for performance and engine reliability. If the engine is ever over revved, or you accidentally miss shift, the engine could be damaged. Uprated springs can help protect against this costly and severe accident.
