What About Springs?: Springs are NOT included withthe RS1 Damper kits.
The RS damper kits are meant to be used with the OE, or direct replacement springsets like Swift, Eibach, H&R or ACS sport springs. We can also sell them in abare coilover configuration on request

Less roll and far more controlled than OEM with *betterthan factory* ridequality. ACS springs offer slightly more performance than Eibachs sports springs and area great match for bothstreet and cars that see the track on weekends.

Available for: M3 hardtops and Cabrios, 1M as well as Non M 335i and135i models.

Camber Plates:
Camber plates are not required. However, adding these street-friendly, trackproven Ground Control camberplates allows for more front camber for aggressive turn it characteristicsand high levels of grip. Improve the dampers ability to sense road conditionswhile not adding an appreciable amount of cabin noise. A recommended addition toyour kit for excellent performance!

VAC Tech's Tip:

Bilstein's shocks are valved with a lot of body control. A trick we have come to recommend highly is to add both a front strut brace, and front lower x-brace. Both combined make an E30 with Bilsteins handle incredibly and yet improve ride quality vs. no bracing.
If ride quality is a concern on your E30, we recommend you have a look at our custom Koni damper set, they ride better.

These are the ideal match for lowering springs, such as the ones available from Suspension Techniques or H&R.

VAC Tech Notes:

These are the correct Bilstein SPORT dampers for 4 cyl E21s. These are not Bilstein Heavy-Duty, OE replacements, or Touring Class...
Beware of what other vendors sell as "Sport" for your E21 as other Bilsteins are not a good match with lowering springs.
New front and rear strut and shock mounts highly recommended when replacing springs and struts.
