The Mishimoto BMW Racing Thermostat fits all N52, N54, and N55 engines. It will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. Mishimoto racing thermostats will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded N52, N54 and N55 engines. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto Racing Thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than the stock thermostat, allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

NoteVehicle must be equipped with stock plastic thermostat housing in order to install this thermostat. If the car still has a metal thermostat housing, BMW 11537549476 or BMW 11537601158 must be purchased in order to install thermostat.
The metal pin must be carefully removed from the Mishimoto thermostat with pliers before installed into plastic thermostat housing.

The VAC Motorsports S54 Water Temperature Manifold serves as a simple and effective method of monitoring water temperatures in the cylinder head, where temperature samples are the most accurate.

This manifold has beveled, flat surfaces on each side to facilitate the installation of your water temperature gauge, any sensor type or data logging uses.

We have already pre-drilled and tapped a 1/8th NPT, making the most common sensors easily adaptable . The extra room that the second flat area provides allows you to tap any thread pitch you may need.

Water temp is critical to monitor both on and off the track. This simple but effective part makes installing sensors a snap, with no permanent modifications needed.

Includes 1/8th NPT port pre-tapped. A second flat is blank, so any sensor thread pattern required can be tapped. Great for track builds or any S54 swapped vehicles.

Installs with the factory O-ring.
