The BMW E10's were equipped with pressed-in wheel studs from the factory but, after almost 40 years or more, they are fatigued and brittle. If your restoring, maybe even corroded beyond repair.
In the past we have seen E10's with irregular drill pressed holes, forced in studs, or welded stud conversions...all in an attempt to repair or replace OEM wheel studs.

Your hub is precision reamed within a few thousandths of an inch. High tensile studs, capable enough for the most extreme vehicles, are pressed in with several thousand ton press to ensure a perfect fit.
