this crank for years successfully in rally, hill-climb and touring
As the bore to stroke ratio is further improved Vs. the 2.5L
crank, these engines typical exhibit as good, or better
reliability. Harmonic distortions and balance are actually closer
to ideal than that of a 2.5 crank. This also makes a 2.7L a good
choice for street driven cars, as the torque curve is stronger
still than a 2.5L allowing great power with less needed camshaft,
and therefore smother running behavior with less "vibrations" felt
in the passenger compartment.
If you do not have a 2500cc or less displacement limitation is
your racing class, or simply want the meanest S14 money can buy;
you owe it to yourself to consider a 2.7L build!
