This kit strengthens the weak mounting location of the front struts on the E36 chassis, reducing metal fatigue and the chances of total failure.
This problem isn't as well know as problems with the rear shock towers on the
E36s, making it potentially more dangerous. Many times, shock tower braces hide
the failure of sheet metal until its too late. If you have fitted aftermarket
suspension, or during the install: This is your best bet for safety on the track, or high mileage/
modified street car. Cost is practically nothing even though these are a factory BMW
part.
