Both BMW dealers and seasoned modifiers were overwhelmed with the improvements this tiny module produces all while being super easy to install, and completely undetectable.
These modules have been used on every current model and ECU software of N54 engine and now for S55 turbo. We have track tested this module at full power for lap after lap with no issues whatsoever. The excellent results our product produces were confirmed as a success.
We assessed from the start that our Intelligent Turbo Control Module should meet all standards of the BMW owner, not just "big power numbers".
- It is easy:... to install, easy to move, or easy to remove from the vehicle; even by the novice...Our unit is plug-and-play and by far the best easy of use/ to performance ratio available. Ready to install out of the box; no laptop, map switching or programming required. It can be installed and removed as many times as you wish, on any compatible BMW without ill effects. Includes a 'bypass valet key' that lets you disable and remove the ITCM in 10 seconds so no one can access the Intelligent Control Module, or steal the unit.
- It will not require: "check engine" lights or trouble codes, no flashes, no ECU removal. No permanent modifications. NO PROBLEMS!
No traces of the ITCM are left behind provided for the dealer to see. Thermal management, fuel management, and over-boost control make worries almost non-existent. It goes above and beyond with no issues.
- It is elegant: Compact, look at home installed, yet rugged enough for the toughest the road and track can dish out. We include a OEM grade harness, and the unit is enclosed in an extruded aluminum vibration damped case. It can also be hidden to go completely under the radar when you open the hood. This piggyback was specifically designed in both hardware and software development phases to work with the OEM ECU not aggressively against it as some others. No one would know BMW did not sell this car off the show room floor other than the monster power level it now has on command.
- It is upgradeable: the ITCM can be reprogrammed in the event of dealer lockout in the future. Mods like bigger turbos or oversize turbo-back exhaust systems and larger intercoolers, Meth injection, etc. are all compatible with the ITCM.
ALSO... If you move on to a 335d, 7 series, X5M or other turbo BMW as they come out, you can take this module with you! Just a new harness and re-flash and your ready! NO others can do this.
- It performs!!!: Eliminates nearly all Turbo Lag brought on by dealer flashes, torque is stratospheric! Power is linear and controllable yet has ferocious off the line and highway acceleration. Drivability is completely uncompromised and performance is very comparable to the E92 M3 or beyond with no other mods. Works excellent with both manual and automatic models. Power levels easily eclipse 115HP increases with other supporting mods like exhaust and intercooler.

Q: What if BMW changes the ECU, or a new feature comes out? Or if I sell the car? A: We want to offer what no others can. We support our "Intelligent Controller" products 100% and allow you to upgrade to the latest new features for free! In the case of an upgrade, such a s a new feature very minimal money as you only pay for the hardware if necessary. In this example, if you were to purchase this unit now and we come up with a new feature like a switch to change a function, we would upgrade the firmware for free and only charge you for the additional hardware required to do that. This way you get all the benefits of the new features without having to spend a bunch of money! ALSO, if you get a new BMW, like a 335d, or X6M or even new Turbo M3 or M5 (everyone knows thats next). We will be able to offer you a super quick option of a new harness & software reprogram, and now your ITCM works on your new car! The ITCM is very flexible and will be upgraded over the years.
Q: What if my car is still under warranty, or I am concerned about reliability? This unit is the evolution of previous technology that has been proven for many years by one of Europe's #1 ECU tuners. We invested many hours of development on the ECU tuning and needs of the BMW owner, but the hardware itself has already been proven thousands of times. Great performance on the F01

I could not wait to get this on, so I went to the dyno today and did some runs on the 7. After the VAC ITCM we ran 6 runs. No check engine lines the car is running great. We are seeing a difference of 4.6 PSI of boost between stock and the VAC module. We made 323.42 whp and 384.40 wheel torque.
It's a nice gain! Install was really simple and easy. My shop does a lot of 335i and 135i and they said that usually the cars come in with lower baselines like 280 whp at 2psi less boost then the 740i. I see the massive torque gains. I figured that BMW might have given the 7 series more boost because it is listed having more horsepower then the 3 and 1.

Having owned the SSTT when it first came out, I still wanted more power. I held off nearly two year to replace it and settled on the JB3 PNP a little while back. It was nice but I could feel it change performance when ambient temps changed, and when I took my car to the track, it had a problems more than once. I switched to the VAC stage 2 and haven't looked back. Power is easily on par with the JB3, but I also like the build quality of the VAC unit, feels more durable. The best is that I can send it in to be re-flashed for my 2011 N55 335i when it arrives this fall! Verrrrry happy with this feature!!!

Received the module and the car runs flawlessly, just like factory until you get on the gas. Then hang on becaue it turns the 335 into an M3 eater. Fantastic gains for the money, car is twice as fun to drive. Great job VAC!!!!!!
