VAC's Supercharger Camshaft set has nearly a decade of proven performance. Made for us to exacting specifications by our partners at Schrick GMBH; this set is designed and tested to provide excellent gains on BMW engines fitted with aftermarket supercharger kits. By popular request, we now have these camshaft sets ordered in volume to save you on cost to the end user.
Our S/C camshaft set started with a request to Schrick to improve performance on the continually popular supercharged engines. From their decades of experience with BMW engines, they were able to offer camshafts ground in an "inverted" configuration that maximizes air flow needs, unique to a supercharged engine application. This allowed for boost to stay where it needs to be, in the engine and limit power-wasting valve-overlap at low RPMs. Versus other camshafts sets that have been developed for N/A or turbocharged apps, these have been dyno tested and real-world proven to work great along with supercharger kits from all the various manufactures.
