The VAC VANOS Limiting Shim is intended for use with larger camshafts with high durations.
These Shims are available in both 4mm and 6mm thicknesses.
For these high lift cams, the VAC Motorsports Race Camshaft VANOS Limiting Shim reduces the travel of the VANOS mechanism. By increasing the lapse of piston to valve contact, these camshafts can be used with the standard valve reliefs found in OEM spec pistons.
