Cable Conversion Kit
Our S54 Drive by Wire Elimination Kit combined with a standard
throttle cable is designed to eliminate the S54's electronic
Drive-by-wire system in favor of the more sought after Throttle
Cable.
It affords excellent linearity and feedback all while fitting
within the limited space available between the cyl head and airbox.
Minor modifications will be necessary to the OE air box for it to
clear the linkage, but the rewards are great.
This is obviously very useful for anyone looking to eliminate drive
by wire when installing an aftermarket ECU, or when installing the
S54 engine in an E36, E30, or any other chassis including Non-BMW's
as well!
Our kit is machined from billet aluminum, black anodized, and use
the best hardware for trouble free operation. This kit has been
thoroughly tested and proven on both our own VAC cars and many
customer vehicles at the track, and on the street.
